STEM

During this weeks forum Dr. Calhoun talked about STEM. It is very disappointing hearing the statistics of our generation not pursuing degrees in STEM. I am a science major (chemistry), but I understand the fear that these degrees generally strike into people. It has a big part to do with our poor K-12 curriculum. He had some very wise words about the process of deciding a major. Luckily, I am very fortunate to have already figured out what I want to be in life, so I know the path I need to take.

We played Kentucky Christian University during this week. It was another home game. It is always a very exciting experience going through the Lion Walk. Thankfully, we won the game 39-0. This makes our record 2-1. My parents came to the game again from Tuscaloosa, so I am glad I got to see them.
